Okondja Forest Concession

Okondja is a town in Haut-Ogooué province located in eastern Gabon & is 156 km northeast of Franceville. It lies on the Sébé River and is located in the Sébé Valley.

The Forest has several popular tree species, having diameter more than 1 meter. Good volumes of Padouk, Tali, Iroko, Movingui, Azobe, Bahi, Sorro, Doussie, Ekoune and Ilomba are present in the concession area.

The company is doing sustainable forest harvesting following FSC & Gabon forest Code. The company believes in conserving the precious species and makes an extra effort to preserve them.

The company has already installed a Mebor saw mill plant with a production capacity of 35 CBM of wood per day. A larger plant with capacity of 150 CBM per day is expected to be installed by the end of this year. Both the plants are based on German Technology.
